well i promised that i would write a fan fic about kage and krodos for their one year anniversary of being together! >D here we start.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kage stood in the open, white space, staring at the person infront of her. He carressed her cheek, and drew her closer. his soft voice spoke, "I love you," as he brought his lips to hers....
Kage jolted up from her dream. The dream was starting to freak her out. She kept having it night after night. She didn't even know who it was that she was kissing, and telling her that he loves her. His face always appeared as a dark shadow, and she couldn't recognize his voice. It was pissing her off.
She sighed, and looked to her best friend, Krodos. He was sound asleep as usual. Kage stood up, and stretched her arms out over her head. She was beautiful as always. Decked out in her blackish colored outfit as well as tons of fishnet on her arm and down her legs. Her long blonde hair with blue bangs hung from her head softly as she looked twords the clouds.
On the other hand.....There was Krodos. His hair was black, and his clothes more raggidy. His body was thin like Kage's, but more muscular because of him being a male. Kage and him were best of friends since the longest time. Since childhood infact.
Kage looked down at Krodos. She smiled to herself. "Hey, wake up!" She yelled at him.
Krodos shot out of the bed like a rocket. He landed on his feet, eyes wide open from shock.
"Whats wrong?" He said, breathing heavily, "Are you ok?"
Kage sighed. And then there was his stupid personality. It always got them in trouble. She wondered what he would be like if he was more serious, but it was too hard to imagine.
"No, you were just sleeping in too much," she spoke, her gaze darting to her ratty friend. "We have stuff to do today!"
"Oh right. The whole 'lets raid the dungeon' thing."
"Don't be so sarcastic about it! There treasure down in the Dungeon! I know it!" Kage's eyes became starry, and she punched the air. She was obviously excited.
Krodos smiled and laughed slightly. Kage was always like this. She really got excited about treasure and dungeons.
"Fine," He said. "Lets go and do this."
Kage grinned and jumped for joy, leading the way to the entrence.
*
Deep in the labyrinth of the dungeon, Kage and Krodos stood in their battle ready. Blades drawn, and eyes set forward at the enemy infront of them. The beasts were snarling and standing on two hind legs. They looked like humanoid forms of wolves, except with armor plates on their shoulders and shins. They bore blades as well.
Krodos breathed deeply, and prepared his stance ven more. "This is a bitch ya know?"
Kage scowled. "I didn't expect them to be this tough, ok!? Damn fool."
Just then the wild anthro lashed out in a howl. It swung its sword down at Kage. She parried perfectly, and side-slung her blade into its side. It lurched in pain, but kepts its attack, as its brotheren sliced at Krodos.
Krodos side-stepped to dodge its feable attempt, as well as stab at the demon. His blade pierced through its furry skin, and right into its abdomen. It howled out furiously, and swungs its clawed hand and blade at Krodos.
Kage had taken care of her beast, its blood on the floor and her blade. She glanced to Krodos, hoping he was doing okay. They were tougher then she would have ever thought. There had to be great treasure inside this dungeon.
Krodos blocked the strike of the monsters with his bloody blade. The clanging noise rang through the rocky cavern. Krodos swung his blade up from the ground, slicing the entire wolf/human in half. Its blood spewed everywhere. The grin on Krodos' face was priceless.
Kage watched the dammed wolf fell in half. She shiethed her blade, and approached Krodos.
"Good job, friend."
"Same to you, bud."
They both continued to grin, and make their journey forward.
They fought monster after monster. Until they reached a large circular room. Flamming tourches ran around the room, lighting it.
"This must be where the treasure is," Kage said, her hand resting on the hilt of her blade. Krodos was the same.
"Which means that the hardest enemy is in here," he sighed.
The room shook, and a few rocks fell from the cieling. Kage and Krodos looked at eachother in alarm, and prepared for whatever could happen. They more then likely couldn't.
The wall began to crack apart from a focal point, and then bursted. In the dust Cloud in the air a shadowy figure zoomed out, and stopped in the middle of the room. It held in its hand a blade that looked like an angels wing. When the dust cleared, they saw the figure as a woman.
"This is my dungeon, and in order to get the treasure you have to defeat me," she said, holding her blade in her right hand, the other resting on the flat of the blade.
"Gladly!" Kage yelled. She wanted that treasure as soon as possible.
Krodos looked over at Kage, and frowned slightly. "Let me take her. I want to."
"But! I want to help!" She groaned.
"Fine, but be careful."
"I'm not a defenseless kid you have to take care of!"
And with that it began. Krodos and kage advanced at frightening speed, blades drawn in a flourish. They brought their blades crashing down, but stopped by the womans block with her elegent blade. She scooped the blade sideways and down, the kids blades getting caught in the feather type design of the blade. She round house kicked them. They flew into the wall, groaning in pain.
"God....Why does she have to be strong?" Krodos asked in annoyence.
Kage nodded as agreement, and charged again. But this time the woman wouldn't allow it. She flash stepped infront of them, and swung her blade horizontally. They each plopped down onto their bottoms, and ducked down quickly, as an attempt to dodge. It worked, barely.
Kage was astonished by her speed. Krodos was as well. They glanced at eachother, and then darted to the other room. They readied themselves, and grinned.
"You can't beat us lady!" Kage and Krodos said in unison.
The woman smiled slightly, and returned to her stance again. Her elegent blade shimmered from the tourch light. This was her territory. She had the advantage.
"I beg to differ," She spoke softly, and slashed, a blade of pure wind bursting from the Wing Blade twords the two friends. It soared through the air at high speed.
The pair dodged it, rolling on either side of it. The blade crashed into the wall, and left a large cleave into it. Thats when they knew this was going to be tough, and that they had to toughen up.
Kage went first. She zig-zagged twords the foe, and brought her Hell's Gate from the floor up. The woman dodged, and slashed, beginning the clashing of blades. They went into a battle. Kage spun and sliced the air, dodging the slash of the womans. The woman blocked, and kicked high for Kages head. Kage dropped her blade quickly, and caught the foot. Then, with precision, she tossed the woman. She caught her blade before it hit the floor as well.
The woman caught herself in mid air, and landed on her feet. She held her blade out, pointing it at Kage. The wind circled the sword, and collected at the tip. She thrusted it forward, and the wind exploded into a beam of pure air. It beamed at kage.
Kage couldn't dodge it in time. It was a fast attack. It crashed into Kage's shoulder, and compressed into it dealing intense damage. Kage lost her balance, and flew into the wall yet again. She grimaced, and winced in pain.
"Bitch..." She muttered under her breath.
Krodos ran to Kage, fearing for her life. His heart sank when he saw Kage get hit, as it always did when she was assaulted. He kneeled down infront of her, and looked at her wound.
"Are you ok Kage!?" He yelled, his voice wavering with worry.
Kage looked at him, and gave a weak smile. She felt her heart flutter. It was weird, and alarming. W-what is this feeling...? She thought.
"I'm fine. Just stand back and watch," Kage said. She stood up slowely, and grabbed her blade from the ground. She started to make hand signs, reciting a few unheard words. Then, she grinned.
"Get ready!"
Kage performed the final sign, and moths appears from behind her, fluttering out in a furry of a raging fire. They swarmed the whole field, making vision damn near impossible.
"Now this will be damn easy!"
She flash stepped to the woman, and brought her blade crashing down upon her. Just barely could she bloke, not being able to see delaying her reaction time. Kage continued her slicing and dicing, expertly carving into the air as if it was nature to her. Which it was.
The woman attempted to dodge and block as best as she cold, but she couldn't. The blade continued to graze and knick her. The blood slowely seeped out of her wounds as she jumped back to create distance, but it was futile. The moths made it so she couldn't see where she was going. So she decided she should get rid of them.
The woman pointed her blade to the ceiling, and wind focused around the sword. Once it had collected enough, it burst out like a hurricane, large slices of wind creating in the air, slashing the moths to pieces in a large flurry.
Kage gritted slashes herself, and jumped back a few feet. She wasn't expecting that. This was a challange.
"Krodos, your turn! I need to charge some energy," She said. Krodos nodded, and stood infront of Kage.
"I suppose it's my turn then? I was getting bored."
"Oh shut the fuck up!" Kage gave a snoody face.
Krodos stepped up to the plate, ready to start. He became battle ready, and then flash stepped to the enemy. He appeared in the air above her, and crashed down like a falling star, his blade coming first. She dodged by jumping back, still a little tired from dealing with the moths. Krodos continued his slashing wildly at the woman.
She was growing irretated. She blocked his attacks, the clanking of the blades hitting eachother filling the room. She became more aggressive, swinging her blade with intense strength. Krodos did so as well.
Krodos was getting irretated as well. He lifted out his palm, and light collected into it. The blast of pure energy of light shot out at the woman, zooming at her. She did the same thing, but with air. The two blasts collided, and exploded.
Krodos scoffed, and started more blade to blade battle with her. He slashed horrizontally and then diagonally. This fury went on for quite a while.
The woman brought a slash up upon Krodos from the ground. One that he easily blocked, but then the blade charged with wind, and a wind blade shot off right into Krodos, gashing Krodos severally.
Kage lurched as she saw it happen. Her eyes welled up with tears. She wasn't to sure what to expect.
Krodos blasted a blade of light after being cleaved, it slicing through the woman's blade, and herself. The dammed woman fell in half, and the blood spewed out like a fountain.
Kage ran to Krodos, in desperate need to hear his voice agian, to know that he was alive. She shook him, and held him close to her.
"Krodos! Answer me Krodos!" She screamed.
*
Kage sat next to Krodos, who lay on the floor. His wound bandaged and cleaned. Her tears fell onto the bandages, adding to the drying blood soaked through them. She sniffled, and wiped her eyes.
"You dumbass! You should have seen it coming! You could have dodged that!" She yelled at him, well knowing he couldn't hear.
She stopped, and evaluated herself. What was she feeling? Why was she so sad. she had been angry when someone had attacked her friends before, but never had she ever felt this way. Is this... Is this love? She thought to herself. She had noticed it. The way her heart would lurch for him, for Krodos every time she looked at him. She loved him.
"Why... You fool. How do I say it....How do I say 'I love you?'"
She shut up quickly, because Krodos began to move in his sleep. He sat up, but groaned when he felt his wound, and layed back again.
"Krodos...? Are you ok?" Kage asked, meekly, nearing to shyly.
"Yeah, I'm fine Kage. Are you ok?" Krodos asked, sensing the shyness of kage.
"Huh!? Me!? Yeah yeah, of course I'm fine!" Kage waved her hands franticly.
"Kage, what's the matter?"
"Nothing Krodos!"
"Kage, tell me!"
Kage's eyes welled up again, but she hid it as well as she could. She stopped waving franticly, and stared at the ground. How should I tell him? Should I tell him? What if I do and he doesn't harbor the same feelings....What could happen to our friendship? But if I never tell him, he will never know. And then what would happen? I would hold back my feelings until the day that I die, and he would never know.
"I...Um," Kage started, fumbling for the words. Looking for what to say. "I was just...Uh..."
Krodos looked at her, worried. He harbored the same feelings as she did, he always did. He loved her for a long time.
"What is it Kage?" He asked.
"I...I...." Kage continued to stammer. She then decided to just tell him.
"I love you..." She murmered quietly, too quiet for Krodos to hear.
"What...?" He asked yet again.
"I....I love you!" She yelled, her tears flowing out softly. That time Krodos heard.
Krodos was in shock. He had always thought that she didn't have the same feelings as him. He was damn near sure of it.
"L-love me...?" He said quietly, just so they could hear.
"Yes... I love you," She answered back, nervously.
Krodos sat up slowly, ignoring the pain he felt. Kage lurched, wondering what he was doing.
"You're going to hu--" She was interupted when Krodos put his finger to her lips, and hushed her softly. His hand moved to carress her cheek. He drew her closer, onto his lap. He Moved his lips closer to hers, his head tilting to the side slightly. Kage closed her eyes, as well as Krodos. Krodos brushed his lips against hers. Then, he pressed them softly against hers, much more passionatly then a brush of lips.
Kage parted from his lips, a small smile showing its way on her face. Krodos bore the same smile.
"I love you too," Krodos spoke, softly and sweetly.
Kage kissed Krodos this time, pouring her love into him. She held him close as she did so, and whispered into his ear.
"Please, love me."
Kage stood in the open, white space, staring at Krodos infront of her. He carressed her cheek, and drew her closer. His soft voice spoke, "I love you," as he brought his lips to hers.
"I love you too," She said.
Kage woke up. She sat up slowely, holding a blanket close to her chest, hiding the fact that she was naked. She smiled to herself, and then down at the goofball Krodos, who was still asleep. Sound asleep.
"I love you, Krodos."
