This is the most horrible beginning I've ever made, you can skip it for all I care, but rest assured, the remainder of the story will be awesomeness.

Tazoon stared out over the ocean, at the ship approaching them, as the crew bustled around him. "There's the Jolly Roger!" a man shouted pointing. At that shout, the crew worked harder than before to turn the ship around in the hopes of outrunning it. Tazoon knew there was no hope though. The ship was advancing towards them too quickly. His father stepped up beside him, a short, stout figure, a bit shorter than William. "There's no chance for us Tazoon..." his father said slowly. "I don't know what they'll do to us, but I want you to be safe...anyway I can make it" Tazoon looked up questionably at his father as he shouted "Stop! Let them board!" The crew all turned around to stare at the captain, wondering what was going on, but suddenly several men climbed on board. They wore clothes that clashed colors, green with purple, orange with sky blue. The last one to climb on walked across a plank to the ship. William rushes foward and flipped the plank over, but the man leaped and landed behind him. He towered above Tazoon at over seven feet tall. He wore a long dark green coat, with a dark green shirt, gold belt buckle, and long green pants. His clothes seemed ruffled as though there was something underneath them. His fiery red hair shined in the sun as he looked down at Tazoon. "A rebellious younglin' eh?" he said with a strange accent. "Do ye know what we do with tha rebellious types?" he asked swiping his thumb across his throat. He held his hand out as a member of his ship handed him a pistol. He pushed it down on Tazoon's forehead. Tazoon who was paralysed with fear could do nothing, but stare. He shut his eyes tightly and heard his father pleading "No please! Don't hurt him! I'll do whatever you want if you keep him safe!" He heard the gun cock and the explosion of gunpowder as the trigger was pulled. He opened his eyes to see a whole in the deck, the tall man holding the pistol down and glaring beside him. He turned his head to see another man, nowhere near the height of the tall man, with his hand on his arm to push the pistol down. The second man wore an off-white bandana with a short brown ponytail coming to the base of his neck. He had an off white scarf/cape that billowed behind him. His arms were bare down to his forearm where bandages were wrapped around down to his wrists. He had thick black rings similar to handcuffs around his wrists. He wore a burgandy shirt and burgandy pants with many black stripes, that had pockets. On the back of his right hip a white cloth hung and just barely you could see a pistol's barrel of you looked at a certain angle. A cutlass hung from the left side of his body. A strange tatoo was on his right hand. "So then...you'll be replinishing our supplies and we'll take young...eh...kiddie with us." he smirked arrogantly. "Kojin! I'm the captain here you cur!" the tall man roared angrily. "Don't mind 'ol Captain Abraham, he's a bit grumpy. So what's your name?" he asked William, holding out his hand. "Tazoon sir!" Tazoon stuttered out, jumping up and saluting. Kojin jumped at him and Tazoon flinched hysterically, causing Kojin and Captain Abraham to erupt in loud laughter. "You've got a lot to learn if you want to make it out here." they said in unison, then suddenly started glaring at eachother. William's father clenched his fists in frustration. "Replinish their supplies." he said lowly to his crew and looked up as Captain Abraham put a reasurring hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, he's safest with us pirates" he said smiling warmly down. Kojin's head popped out from beside Abraham "That's a lie actually, since we'll be chased by the navy and may end up fighting other pirates, sailing through rough and stormy territory an-" he said before Abraham's hand clasped over his face and shoved him back. "That guy's a moron don't listen to him." Abraham sighed. "I'm the coolest moron you'll ever meet!" Kojin's muffled voice sounded out.
