I'm writing the sequel by the way XD... Even though I'm not done with this one yet.
Chapter 16 (Asuka's POV)
I felt somewhat angry when Kiri pushed me out of the way, but that's okay. I pick myself up and walk out of the room, walking back into my own room. But it's okay, my head is raised high, because I reign victorious.
Ahh... the sweet taste of victory.

Chapter 17 (Shiku's POV)
Last night, I cried myself to sleep. The thought still echoed through my head, No... Kiri... How could you? I wake up, my dream fading away. The dream of my memory when Kiri saved me at the orphanage. I wish I could stay in my fantasies forever... I wish all of this would just fade away... I lay back down and attempt to go back to sleep. After a few hours of just laying there I get up crossly and look at myself in the mirror just before going to go out the door. My eyes are bloodshot... I hope I don't see Kiri on my journey downstairs out the door and to the Lake of Purity.
Failure.
As soon as I open the door, a sleeping Kiri falls in clashing into my dresser. Aww... man... My Goal.
Crushed.
I step around him, attempting to get away before he wakes up, but he's already stirring. He looks up at me and immediately he's alert. "Shiku!" he yells, probably too loud. "I'm sorry!" he yells loudly.
I blink staring at him awkwardly, I push down the urge to smile at the dorkiness of what he just did. I merrily ignore him as though I didn't hear it and walk downstairs and out the door.
( Lol, Dorkiness, I love that word)

Why do I bully Kiri into being stupid? Revenge.
Chapter 18 (Kiri's POV)
I slap my head after hearing the door downstairs click shut, Oh man... what did I do wrong this time? I pause, running the the event over in my brain again. I slap my head again, this time even harder, "Oww..." I murmur. That must have seemed very dorky. I must have been like a COMPLETE IDIOT! He blinked, Not like, he corrected himself. I was a COMPLETE IDIOT!
I sit there just outside her door, punching myself in the head. Oh gosh... My only chance, blown away by my stupidity, how stupid could I get?
I hear a chuckle behind me and I turn backwards to see Asuka behind me, "What are you doing here slapping yourself crazy?" she laughs again, like soft melodic wind chimes. "How about getting breakfast with me instead?"
She was smiling a smile that I would question, the type of smile Shiku smiles when she's about to tongue rape me.
A seductive smile...
I think to myself, No, that's what got you in trouble in the first place!
But... Instead I say, "Okay, that sounds nice!" I follow her out of the house, walking towards the direction of the town square where all the breakfast shops are.
Maybe I could get a lot more stupid...

Chapter 19 (Shiku's POV)
I walk around the rim of the pond; I pick up a light purple flower, my favorite. “Forgive him, forgive him not, forgive him, forgive him not, forgive him…” I pause getting to the last one. “…Forgive him.”
“Hmm…” I sigh and let my legs sit in the water. “He did save me twice… I owe him twice… Anger burned in me as I remembered the image of Asuka with him… I screamed, and then covered my mouth afraid that something or rather someone would find me. Afraid that Kiri would find me.
“I guess I can forgive him,” I said aloud. “Just this once,” I silently knew that it wasn’t true, but I pretending to be convinced. I smiled happy with my decision, I look at the direction of the town square. Let me tell you something about myself first, I am not one for apologizing. A plan silently formed in my mind, I'd get breakfast for Kiri and I and then he'll thank me, and it will seem like nothing ever happened.
I walk to the Bubble Tea Cafe I order a simple spicy stir fried rice cake, two bowls of tempura udon and a platter of sushi. Then I look to the drinks section, I smile remembering when we were still going to High School. Everyday after school without a doubt, we'd come here to drink bubble tea and do homework with the rest of our friends. I smile remembering what Kiri always ordered without fail, except for the few times I forced him to drink something else.
"May I have a Mango Tapioca drink please?"
I pause looking at the menu of the drinks again to pick my own, the Passion Fruit mix Tapioca catches my eye, but for old time's sake I order...
"Oh, and can I also have a Lychee Tapioca?"
I hand the person money in exchange for my food, I smile, "Thank you." As I walk out of the store I see that it has started to drizzle rain. Normally I would wander around outside in the rain, I loved to walk in the rain. I looked down at my food and I sigh not wanting to get them wet so I walk next to the stores to avoid getting my food rained on. I peer into the restaurants as I pass by them, I smile at the eating couples in paticular an old couple. They smile back at me then they go back to eating their food and feeding each other food.
I stop dead in my tracks, when I see Kiri and Asuka smiling and eating in Kiri and my favorite breakfast place. I stare at them in disbelief as they fed each other food and they sit in the spot Kiri and I always sat at. Just looking at it disgusted me.
I walk home by myself in the rain, I could care less if my food got rain water in them. I. Could. Really. Care. Less. When I get home I unlock the door then kick it open, the door shivering a bit and the hinges creak.
Right now, I'm not someone who is satisfied just by a "I don't know..." for an answer.

Chapter 20 (Kiri's POV)
"I love you."
I look up at Asuka, just the least bit surprised that she said it in front of me, but not at all shocked by the statement. "Yeah, so?" I ask, pretending not to care, which I've gotten quite good at in the past few years.
"Do you love me?"
I sigh, women these days, why do they need the actual statement. I think back to Shiku, at the Lake of Purity, I finger the chain in my pocket. I've been keeping it with me for safe keeping, and for any occasion that I could actually give it back to her with an excuse.
Shiku.
I know I shouldn't be thinking about her at all, she's mad at me, and perhaps I'm mad at her too. Just thinking of this possessed me to do what I was about to do maybe.
"Yes, I do."
Asuka's eyes snapped open and she raised her gaze to me, she has a look of victory, but surprise plastered all over her face. I bend over to hug her, we hug for a few minutes, then I hear someone's voice I recongnized.
"Where's Shiku?"
I look over and see someone I haven't seen in years, Kisari. She had been a former gang member back at the orphanage. However...
Shiku coughed violently, blood splattering everywhere as she coughed. "What did you do to me?" she screeched.
Kiseki looked at her with malice in her eyes, "I understand you are allergic to penicillin?" she smiled, baring her wolf fangs.
Shiku's mouth dropped open as she heard her utter the word penicillin. She looked forward at the can of soda spilled out in front of her. She stared in horror at Kisari, Kiseki's twin, she had promised to help her get away from the rest of the gang, to protect her.
Kisari wasn't meeting her gaze, she was just looking at the door, expectantly. As the door flung open she sprang into action.
I stepped in and nodded at Kisari as she picked Shiku up and ran, I took care of all the other gang members as they ran.
When Kisari finally ran far enough that we were safe she started to perform a healing spell, "I'm sorry Shiku, I know I promised, but..." she started to cry. "I was scared, I'm sorry I'm such a bad older sister... I'm sorry..."
Kisari was staring at me, "Well, where's Shiku?"
"We should probably step outside for a moment," I tell her, then open the door to the back of the restaurant.

Chapter 21 (Kisari's POV)
As we step out I smile, and give Kiri a hug, "It's nice to see you again..."
"Yeah..." he looks down.
I laugh for a bit, "I know who that girl is, Asuka... Shiku's little sister right?"
"Yeah..."
"Does Shiku know what you guys are doing here?"
"No."
I sigh as I break the truth to him, I had seen Shiku as she passed by, and her expression of a mixture of sadness and anger. "She was just here."
His eyes widen, "Crap," is all he can utter.
I've always been like an older sister to Shiku, looked out for her, put her in front of me, always. Maybe that's why I let go of Kiri...
I smiled walking towards Shiku's room to tell her the good news that Kiri asked me out. I keep walking, but then paused at Shiku's door hearing what she was saying.
"Kiri..." she looked down and blushed innocently, she was working up her courage, "will you go out with me?" She shut her eyes, head tilt down, apparently scared to hear the answer. She looks back up at Kiri, when Kiri starts to stroke her hair, comfortingly.
"I'll think about it."
I start to run, careful not to make my presence known, what should I do? Should I take what I desire, or let go for Shiku? I run in a complete circle, and when I get back to the room, Kiri already left... and Shiku's inside crying. I walk in and smile at her sitting down next to her then hug her, "What's wrong sweetie?" I try to comfort her.
Shiku's curled up in a little ball and she says nothing, but later she falls asleep. I hug her still as she falls asleep, "It's okay..." I whisper. "Everything is going to be okay sweetie... Just dream some sweet dreams for me..."
"Well... I just wanted to let you know that Shiku is aware of anything, just in case if she accuses you of anything, admit to it, say some sweet and dorky things. You know how Shiku melts against those. Apologize, or you'll die," I tell him bluntly.
He replies with a nod, not formal, not promising... But for Kiri... Good enough.
"Well... Then I guess I'll see you later," I pause then hand him a decorated bag. "Give this to Shiku for me, it's her birthday today."
(Kisari = Shiku's mother duck XD)

Chapter 22 (Kiri's POV)
It's Shiku's birthday today? Oh crap... I forgot... I can't believe I forgot, Shiku always remembered my birthday and got me a nice gift in the least. I check my watch, 3:00... I twitch and think of what to give her. I'm panicing against the time.
I walk into the shop again, approaching Asuka's table, I lay a bill down for Kisari's table, I owed her.
Asuka was just finishing up a call, "But I'm..." there was a rapid and loud voice on the other end. Finally Asuka gave into submission, "Yes... Alright... I'll be there."
"Sorry Kiri," Asuka said seeing me come in. "I have something I have to do today." She paused, "Tonight look in my closet and get the wrapped present out and give it to Shiku... Today is her birthday, tell her sorry and that I'm going to be gone for 3 days.
Even Asuka remembered! I can't believe it, I'm probably the only person that forgot. "Uh yeah... alright then. I have something I need to do too." I stop, getting an idea in my head, "What did you give her?"
She looks at me before going out the door, "You'll see." She winks at me then walks out, wings spreading in the process.
I run around for the next few hours, going door to door looking for gifts, but rather than buying gifts for Shiku from me. I recieve gifts from Shiku's friend's around the neighborhood telling me to give them to her. Each time I smile and nod, my guilt piling higher and higher for not remembering.
Finally, at 6:00 I give up, I had thought to get her a cake, but then at the last second, the cake designer at the bakery informed me that she'd give Shiku a cake for free.
I carry all the gifts back to our house and I walk up the stairs, tired and sweaty from running around trying to find a gift all day. I see Shiku sitting on the couch where our bedrooms met at the turn up the stairs. I drop the presents at her feet, "All yours..."
She looks surprised for a second, "From you?"
I just look away, not telling her.
She grins, as if taking it as a yes then starts to open the gifts, each time she opens a gift and expected it to be from me it wasn't. She was trying hard to keep her temper in check, happy that I brought back all these gifts, but mad about seeing me with Asuka perhaps? Also slightly saddened I could see from seeing none of the gifts were mine so far, I could tell by the way her shoulders sagged.
Then she is on the last present, that is a shiny dark blue bag. She reaches inside and gets a small long box covered with a layer of black shiny wrapping paper with butterflies on it, a necklace, "Oh... my..." she didn't get to finish. It was a dark blue jeweled necklace, there were dark blue small crystals on either side to the middle, where there was a small black butterfly. "It's so..." she was appalled and speechless at the same time. There was a card made from hand made paper, and there was a transparent cover of silk. In sparkling dark blue letters there was:
Happy Birthday Sweetie,
~Kisari
Shiku opened the card and it played music, Kiss the Rain by Yiruma on with Kisari's neat and signature printing was...
Shiku, I miss you so much... Why haven't we been in touch for so long? Ahh well, it doesn't matter Happy Birthday none the less, I still have the card and the bracelet you made for my birthday, so this time I decided to return the favor, everything here was handmade by me, well... besides the bag, but the wrapping paper is designed by me too, and the necklace. Hug and kiss Kiri, who helped me plan this out all along... I hope you guys are still as adorable and as affectionate ( Ok, maybe not affectionate) as you were before.
Terrible amounts of love for my dear sweetie, ~ K i s a r i ~
Adorable and affectionate... Kisari sure knows how to describe us... I thought to myself sarcastically
Shiku was just about to put everything back in the bag when she heard something rock against the bag, she reached in and pulled out a small box, a dark blue velvet ring box, that I thought looked oddly familiar. The ring was silver and it had a black butterfly carved into it and from the butterfly, two dragons intersecting at the buttom of the ring.
It had a tag hanging out from it, "From: Kiri." Shiku read aloud.
I knew that it wasn't from me, it wasn't intently from me, why?
Had it been for Shiku I'd give her something with butterflies or wolves. Kisari? Hard core Dragonlover. The butterfly looked a lot like Kisari's handiwork, it probably was anyway. I felt annoyed and angered at the same time relieved at Kisari's smart and curt ability of knowing me so well, that she knew I forgot Shiku's birthday, but I also didn't like it that she was expecting it from me though.
Shiku slipped it onto her ring finger and kept it there as she marveled at it, flashing me a genuine warm smile.
Yet the fact she so conveniently slipped it onto her ring finger just made everything just too convenient.
My cell phone beeped and on it I saw the message...
You owe me... Heh... ~Kisari
(OMG.. A CHAPTER ASUKA HASN'T EVEN READ YET!)

Chapter 23 (Shiku's POV)
I slightly tried to keep frowning, but couldn't help making an awkward frown that also curved upward on the edges. "Well, I'd better get to sleep ehh?" I glanced at the clock, it was only 3:00 am, who was I fooling? I usually never slept, especially on a special occasion, and my birthday is an EXTREMELY special occasion.
I collapse onto my bed, realizing how tired I am. Probably from being mad the whole day. I think to myself. I don’t remember how long it took me to go to sleep, how many thoughts had run through my head, how many times I had whispered Kiri’s name, how many times I had heard the clock tick before I fell asleep.

Chapter 24 (Shiku's POV)
A silver haired boy stood in the corner, blood dripping down onto the ground from a wound a two spell circles drawn on either hand, the boy had piercing blue eyes. Reiu, exile from the other Fallens. The boy had attempted the forbidden art, the art of getting one wish, but he had to give up something of the most importance. Something had gone wrong, he was without the feeling of warmth, and was without his wish.
Shiku felt as though the wind was knocked out of her, as she stepped back slowly. Fear came over her as shivers ran down her spine, "Oh God... I'm so sorry, I-I..." she studdered slowly as she kept backing away, she slowly backed into a cliff. "Reiu-sama, I'm so sorry, I... I..."
Reiu advanced towards her, "Shiku... my dear Shiku..." he said smiling, then his features totally changed as his smile twisted and his eyes were filled with malice. His hands gripped around her neck, "You belong to me... you will come back to me and listen to me always... I own you, you belong to me..." his expression changed back into a smile, "my dear Shiku."
Shiku instantly got into sitting position and did what every girl would do in this situation. Shiku screamed, her voice echoing through out the estate, although there was only ONE other person in this house, who happened to be in the room across from her own. She silently huddled up against the corner of her wall with her pillow on her knees while she laid her head on it.
The door clicked open, "Shiku, it's 3:00 in the morning, what are you screaming about?" Kiri asked, yawning to empathize his statement. He saw her huddled up in her corner, "Hey... are you okay?" He inched closer, "Do you have a fever or something?"
He started to move his hand to Shiku's forehead as Shiku slapped it away, "Don't touch me," she hissed. She shrunk in smaller than before into the corner. "Don't touch me Reiu-sama..." she whimpered the name, making it seem like gibberish, sinking even more into her corner.
Kiri raised his eyebrow, "Uhh... okay, I'll umm... go away."
Shiku got up after he went out the door, she walked downstairs, carrying her pillow with her. Coffee... she decided on, her thoughts still hazy with fear. "Coffee..." she walked right into the coffee cabinet, making the instant coffee and the beans all fall out around her. She trembled as she stood back up and decided on Columbian coffee, shaking the beans into the coffee bean grinder, her hand quivered as she shook the back, spilling the beans everywhere around her.
"Eggs..." she wobbled around in search for eggs, she opened the refrigerator, taking out a carton of eggs. She gripped onto the carton tightly as she heard a crack of one of the eggs inside, she let go of the carton as she heard the sound, looking behind her as she backed away again. There was nothing. The eggs fell on the floor with a loud crack.
"No eggs..." she opened the fridge again, and took out a box of KFC, no way she could mess this up... right? She slowly set the whole box into the oven, forgetting that the box from KFC was paper, and that paper was flammable. She twitched nervously as she smelled smoke, her thought process was something that could only make sense in the mind of Shiku Usachi. "Smoke, fire... fire, flames... flames... Reiu." she twitched as she watched the black smoke come out of the oven. "Fire... Fire..." she mumbled slowly fetching a bowl of water, as she opened the oven the smoke engulfed her, she threw the water on the fire, making the water hiss as it burned up.
"Uhh..." she took out a hose and turned it on, nothing came out... because it wasn't connected to anything. She connected the hose to the tap as she sprayed the fire and the water came out of a crack in where she connected it. Pretty soon the water was up to almost her ankles and the fire was out. She took out the box of KFC and swore at how hot it still was, "No chicken."
Shiku looked over to the coffee grinder and took the grounded beans into the coffee maker as she also put in water. "Coffee..." She removed the pot of coffee as it was done, she poured it into the sink and took out the wet coffee beans and put it into a cup. She blinked twice, realizing it wasn't coffee, "No coffee..." she flipped her cup upside down and the coffee beans came out in a clump as it mixed with the water on the ground. "No breakfast." Without coffee there was no breakfast, she glanced over at her pillow as she put it on the ground laying her head on it, sleeping in the puddle of water in the kitchen.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
I find it funny how she ruined her own breakfast and the kitchen is a mess and she's just sleeping in that mess.
